So you want to come for long weekend break cycling in Charente Maritime?
That’s awesome! You can fly out on Thursday or Friday evening and back on Sunday evening or Monday morning – what ever works for you!
We can tailor two or three days of riding for you according to your wishes and/or fitness levels as we know the area intimately so can factor in great restaurants, historic towns and wine or Pineau tastings.
We will spend our days cycling around the beautiful Charente countryside visiting towns such as La Rochelle, Cognac and Saintes. Time can also be spent on Ile de Ré and Ile d’Oléron. For the more courageous there is a route through the vines and Châteaux of the Médoc.
Nearer by are the gorgeous villages of Talmont and Mortagne.
You just need to let us know how many you are so we can book the appropriate accommodation for you!
Groups of up to 8 can stay at Chez les Bons, a small farmhouse in the middle of the vineyards and sunflower fields.
Groups of up to 14 stay in the sleepy village of Epargnes at Le Logis – Maison de Maître.
Larger groups of up to 20 can stay with Angelique and Benoît at the beautifully restored Logis de la Grosse Pierre in Arces-sur-Gironde.
If you would like bike hire just let us know and we will have the bikes delivered to your accommodation for when you arrive. This will reduce the time spent sorting out bikes and ensure that you spend maximum time riding.
The cost for the weekend including three nights B&B and three days guided cycling is €300 per person. This can easily be flexed for more or less nights and more or less rides – please ask me on the form below.
