15/01/18 The stages for the 2018 Tour du Poitou Charentes been announced today!
More detail will follow at the full official launch at the end of April.
08/01/18 The newspapers at the weekend were all about holidays in France.
On Saturday, The Times had an article entitled ‘The 50 Best Holidays in France for 2018‘ which was split into 5 subsections on Activity and Sport Holidays, Family Holidays, Foodie Holidays, Arts & Culture Holidays & Best New Hotels.
According to them, ‘the Charente-Maritime department in western France is perfect cycling country’.
The following day, the Sunday Times had a France Special 2018.
Bordeaux had a special mention in the Big Weekend article, which is a regular column.
‘You should visit now’!
In the Best Events and Exhibitions section Bordeaux get a further mention as the Musée de la Mer et de la Marine opens in June.
17/10/17 The Tour de France Route for 2018 was released today.
Le Grand Départ is in the Vendée which is just up the road in French terms!
